Join park staff for a Florida Safari tram tour of the longleaf pine forest. Learn about the park’s land management practices and how we care for our natural resources. Wildlife sightings are common but not guaranteed. Possible fauna seen during this program include white-tailed deer, Gopher Tortoise, Sherman’s fox squirrel and wild turkey.
During the tour, you can take a short guided walk on the swamp trail. A park ranger will lead visitors down the boardwalk to the Silver River. After the hike the tram will return to the main entrance.
The Tram Tour is held the first Sunday of every month and the program begins at 10 a.m..
